PAINTBOX FUNCTIONS:

Painting phase:
Outside air is sucked-in by the fan through a pre-filtration unit. After warming up in the heat exchanger it passes through the ceiling-mounted filters and flows out freely and separated from impurities. A uniform air flow from top to bottom is maintained inside the box enabling the paint residues to be conveyed to the floor-mounted filters where they settle down. Pre-heated surplus air is characterised as an open system with full continuous air exchange. The box itself and the whole circulation system up to the fans are maintained under a slight overpressure. Infiltration of even smallest dirt particles can thus be eliminated.

Drying phase:
The drying process proceeds by distributing the air volume entering into the box space by means of a safety flap valve mounted under the heat exchanger.Part of the warmed-up air entering into the box is mixed with approx. 20% of cold air from outside and the air mixture is warmed-up in the heat exchanger (recirculation). This patented system can save 60% of fuel even in the drying phase. During this phase, harmful vapours are conducted away and taken into a cleaning station with activated carbon. Such an open cycle prevents saturated air from getting back into the paint box and generator interior. The whole cycle is driven by one half of electric motors only. After the preset time is elapsed, the automatic cool-down process is initiated and, once finished, the box is switched off automatically.
